2018 Masters Sleepers

Looking for some Masters longshots to win golf's 1st major of the year? Here are some interesting sleeper picks that should make the cut at Augusta and even have an outside shot to win or place top 10 in the tourney. All should be great prices at DraftKings.

- Kiradechi Aphibarnrat ($7,100) - A true Masters sleeper pick, wouldn't the "Barn Rat" look great in a green jacket? He has only played at Augusta once in 2016, but placed 15th. He has been very hot recently, so if you believe in the "hot player trend", he could be worth a shot. Should make the cut at least as the course plays well to his style.

- Ian Poulter (TBA - Just Qualified!) - Poulter has been desperately trying to receive an invite to the Masters tourney almost pulling off an upset at Dell Match Play and finally beating the odds in a playoff at the Shell Houston Open. So he is in and his record is pretty decent. He has made the cut at Augusta 11/12 times and placed in the top 10 twice, including a 6th in 2015 and 7th in 2012. He has been very hot as of late so should make the cut again and be somewhere in the mix come the final Sunday. Most will overlook him as he will be a late addition to the field.

- Bryson DeChambeau ($6,900) - Having only played in one Masters tourney in 2016, DeChambeau placed a respectable 21st. With an obvious upwards trend, he has been playing very well as of late almost winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational. A so-called "old soul" in the golfing world, DeChambeau has admitted he tends to go after the more famous or prestigious golf tourneys and prepares accordingly...with the Masters being at the top of the list. DeChambeau is an interesting Masters longshot at a good fantasy price.

- Hideki Matsuyama ($8,400) - Matsuyama a sleeper? Well, he has missed a good portion of the recent PGA tour with a wrist issue and is just rounding into form. Not sure if it will be in time, but he has placed 11th, 7th and 5th in the last 3 years at Augusta. So, maybe he has timed his injury recovery with best intents focused on this tournament. He would normally be a top 5 or top 10 favorite, but he is way undervalued because of the way things have shaped up this year.
