2018 US Open Sleeper Picks

Unsure who to choose for your 2018 US Open Fantasy Golf roster? Here are some longshots who should do well... Dressing at least a couple of fantasy golf sleepers who make the cut is key to staying under the salary cap to pick some of the top golfers with a great chance to win.

- Zach Johnson ($7,100) - Johnson plays smart golf and has done well at previous US Opens finishing 48th here at Shinnecock. He has a solid short game and his putting is good enough to win a major as he has done before. Zach is also playing good golf in 2018 missing only 1 cut. While everyone else is playing it safe, why not make ZJ your #1 2018 US Open Sleeper Pick?

- Louis Oosthuizen ($7,800) - Oosthuizen always seems to get up for the majors and has finished as a runner-up in all of them. He has made the cut in 15 of 17 majors including 4 straight at the US Open. He is back on track after a couple of missed cuts last month and geared up for Shinnecock. His irons game and overall accuracy make Oosty a great longshot pick to finish in the top 10.

- Matt Kuchar ($7,600) - Kuchar isn't exactly a "longshot" pick, however he prices like one this week. Could it finally be his time to win his 1st major? Kooch always seems to "be there" in the end, but never seems to be close enough to win it. He plays incredibly consistent golf, so you know he is going to make the cut and even be leading at some point. He almost always finishes in the top 20 in majors and bigger tourneys. You can't go wrong having Kuchar in your lineup this week.

- Tony Finau ($7,500) - Finau has quietly had a very nice season. He finished 10th at the Masters and has made the cut and finished top 25 in most of the bigger tourneys this season. Finau seems to target the biggest tourneys to play his best. He has finished in the top 15 in three of the six majors he has played in. He is a long hitter off the tee - in fact, one of the best drivers on the tour - and if he can stay down the middle, his finesse game should keep him in striking distance until Sunday afternoon.
